1. 智慧型藥物傳遞系統:中孔洞二氧化矽奈米粒子,藉由材料表面的官能化,賦予標靶、調控釋放功能;摻雜具有光學以及磁性元素使具有可追蹤特性,達到同時具有特定目標控制釋放且可以非侵入式檢測追蹤之多功能智慧型藥物傳遞系統。

2. 多功能骨修復系統:中孔洞二氧化矽生物活性玻璃,材料中含有鈣、磷成份,可作為骨修復之材料;延續上述中孔洞二氧化矽材料本身所具有之優勢,進一步成為具有特定目標藥物治療且可以非侵入式檢測追蹤之多功能可傳遞藥物之骨修復系統。

3. 生物資源/廢棄物轉化之功能性材料:生活周遭常見之物質,如貝殼富含高比例之碳酸鈣、矽藻本身具有的特殊圖案之二氧化矽孔洞結構、稻殼中高含量之二氧化矽,可利用純化的過程,進一步改質成為多功能之再生材料,賦予資源能夠更加有效利用的價值。
